Acquisition of English Argument Patterns By Russian EFL Students

Foreign (especially English) language learning has witnessed growing popularity in Russia over the last decades due to enormous change economic, political, legal, and cultural domains current period. The increasing need for good English speaking writing skills put forward a demand accurate use of lexical items grammatical structures by those who study as foreign (EFL). Lexical accuracy acquires crucial importance reasoning argumentation. A slapdash word or syntactic construction argument structure may submit listener conclusion, which is completely different from what speaker implied. Such issues be particularly frustrating academic, business, medical, other types institutional discourse. rules Aristotelian logic, underlying majority structures, are generic. Therefore, it certain difference between two languages, native (Russian) (English), that makes Russian students misinterprete logical chains irrelevant constructions.
